“Simon Delestre’s Assessment of Last Week’s CSI3* and Future Plans”

What is your assessment of last week’s CSI3* ?

“A good record. I had planned the mare (Crazy Girl des Lotus) in the 1.45m qualifier on the first day. She was faultless jumping very, very well, we were thus qualified and when we went back to the box, I made the decision to leave her alone until the GP on Sunday. When I crossed the finish line of the GP, I was very happy to be SF; turning to the screen to see that I had a time point exceeded, I grumbled, but when I got back to the paddock, I knew that I had a very good ranking having passed in 53e position on 60. I am 4e finally. When I went to pick up the mare, I was confident because I know she has all the resources. She is unstoppable, nothing scares her, even if she can be inattentive at times. I already knew this before coming to the competition, because I have competed in three since the start of the season and the mare was well under control. She listened to me well without

try to run to prepare for this competition. That was the goal for the start of the season. »

What is the program next?

“It was to give the horses two weekends of rest before the National de Canteleu. I did not ask for a catch-up for the CSI4* of Bourg to preserve the mare. But I will certainly do the CSI3* of Cabourg at the beginning of June. »

After the Jump’Est Nancy CSI3* last week, Simon Delestre (Solgne) takes part, from Thursday to Sunday, in the Hubside Jumping in Grimaud with I Amelusina R51 and Cayman Jolly Jumper.
