Doddy told his story about finding a job and finally decided to help his parents sell yellow rice.
Born from a family with a less well-established economic background, Doddy’s parents were only sellers of yellow rice. It also continues the efforts of the grandmother who was the first to pioneer.
However, things did not go smoothly. His business had closed several years after his grandfather’s departure. The family was devastated. Some of the Gono Gini’s assets were sold and distributed to several family members.
After a few years, the grandmother could no longer continue the yellow rice business because she was in her 70s.
Doddy got back up. He tried to convince his parents to continue his grandmother’s business. This 27-year-old man’s business was successful.

Entering 2011, Doddy entered the University of Mulawarman, majoring in Business Economics.
During college, Doddy was diligent in helping his parents. He sold yellow rice, served customers, washed dishes, accompanied his mother while looking for other fortunes.
He applied for work everywhere but was not accepted.
After graduating, he applied for a job at a travel business in Samarinda 2019. At that place, Doddy was accepted as a customer service job.
After one year of work, Doddy’s contract was not extended until finally he returned to help his mother selling yellow rice.
He had applied at a bank in Balikpapan but there has been no summons to date.
Never resigning, he applied again to Grapari 2020. At that place, Doddy was accepted. However, he did not sign the contract, because he could not bear to see parents selling yellow rice alone.
“I see my mother cooks myself, I don’t have the heart to see my parents like that. I don’t really have the heart to see parents selling alone,” he said.
Currently, Doddy and his two younger siblings are helping his mother selling yellow rice. While his father was the task of buying food ingredients before cooking his mother.
In addition to helping sell yellow rice, Doddy for the past year has also been concerned about being a bodybuilding athlete.
Because of that, he also often trains fitness beginners. Every afternoon until evening he trains at a fitness center in Samarinda. That night he helped sell yellow rice.

However, because of the similarities, as well as encouragement from colleagues, in 2017 he had participated in the original or fake Boy William casting in Jakarta. But failed.
“Because people say I look like Boy William. So I was brave. Even though my mother didn’t want to, I was desperate to go to Jakarta but failed,” he explained.
Doddy’s efforts did not stop there, he had also auditioned to become an icon for L-Men products. Because besides having an athletic body, Doddy also wanted to achieve fame. But again failed.
“Even though I still fail, I am not discouraged. There are still other opportunities, I will continue to fight,” said Doddy.
Since going viral, Doddy admitted that he got additional sustenance, because he was asked to become an endorser.

Since it went viral on social media, Doddy admitted that he was not a little bullying he accepted. His photos are sometimes edited and juxtaposed with photos of Le Min Ho with captions bullying.

Grandma’s message
Doddy’s grandmother, Hj Rasdiana (76) hopes that her grandson’s dream will be achieved. According to him, Doddy was a hard worker and obedient to his parents. Because of that, said Rasdiana, Doddy wanted to make his parents happy.
“She can’t bear to see her mother sell it herself,” said the grandmother.
Rasdiana asked her children and grandchildren to continue the yellow rice business, which she initiated.
“Even if (Doddy) is famous, even successful, never leave this yellow rice. Because this business is the beginning of our sustenance,” concluded the grandmother.
