Justin Hubner have playing characteristics that at first glance are similar to the players of the Indonesian national team, Elkan Baggott.
Hubner is one of the names of the young players who should strengthen the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Under-20 World Cup. Hubner also arrived in Indonesia with Jong Utrecht’s player Ivar Jenner.
Hubner and Jenner were advised by coach Shin Tae Yong. The South Korean trainer proposed 14 names of naturalized players.
Hubner himself bears a resemblance to Baggott, who is currently on loan to a League Two club, Gillingham FC. Hubner and Baggott both occupy the position of center-back, left-handed, and have an imposing posture.
Hubner has a posture of 187cm or slightly lower than Baggott who is 194cm tall.
Hubner’s skill is also quite good. The player born in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, 19 years ago, has good defensive skills and interceptions as a central defender.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers U-21 player is also gifted with good passing accuracy and good vision of the game. Another advantage Hubner has over Baggott is the speed of this abandonment of the Den Bosch academy.
From the existing videos, Hubner is also included in the typical ball-playing defender. This cannot be separated from his good skills with the ball.
Hubner’s ability as one of the potential young defenders is also not in question. This can be seen from his career, who has now become a Wolverhampton U-21 player since the beginning of this year after stepping up to Wolves U-18 starting in January 2020.
