Sebastian Veron, former player and president of Estudiantes de la Plata, said he would like to take over the Argentine Football Association in the future, and that he was convinced that Diego Simeone would lead “Tango dancers”.
Veron added that his goal is to reach the Argentine presidency in order to “bring modernity” to the game in his country, during comments he made to Fox Sports.
He continued: “I would like it at some point. There are educational and nutritional aspects that must be adopted which is important and helps the athlete, so providing assistance from a political center and the location it occupies is important.”
Likewise, Veron expressed his confidence that the current Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone will take charge of Albiceleste one day, and that he is one of the best coaches in Europe today.
It is worth noting that Veron previously wore the jerseys of Estudiantes, Boca Juniors, Parma, Lazio, Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter Milan and other teams.
