There are a whole lot of computer cases manufacturers on the market, and in stores we can find even more different models. However, most of them are identical to each other. Few companies dare to experiment with new solutions. It’s easier to copy the competition.
SilverStone Alta F2 is expected to cost around PLN 5,000
Luckily SilverStone is not afraid of risk. Their new design puts on a motherboard rotated 90 degrees°, two tempered glass panels, offers three different ways to mount the graphics card and three 180mm fans. This is to translate into extremely low temperatures of components under load.
SilverStone Alta F2 it is housing type Full Tower with dimensions of 576 x 261 x 658 millimeters and a weight of 21.1 kilograms. It is made of aluminum, steel and tempered glass. Inside will fit SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX or Mini ITX motherboards; tower CPU coolers up to 205 millimeters high; graphics cards up to 604 millimeters long and up to two ATX power supplies.
Eight 3.5″ and three 2.5″ slots are provided for data carriers. The I/O panel is located in front, closer to the right edge and houses one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and a combo audio connector.
In terms of ventilation, up to nine fans will come in here. Three 180mm on the bottom, two 140/120mm on the front and one 140mm or four 120mm on top. We get three flagship “propellers” SilverStone Air Penetrator 184i PRO from the factory. Fans of liquid cooling will fit radiators up to 560 millimeters long here, but smaller structures will also come in – including classic 360-millimeter radiators.
SilverStone Alta F2 is expected to hit stores in Europe at the end of May. The suggested price will be 900 – 1000 dollars, so about 3746 – 4162 zlotys. Adding Polish VAT to this, we get approx 4609 – 5119 zlotys. It’s expensive, and even very expensive. But this is the original housing, and the fans themselves cost PLN 600.
