Silva will play for San Sebastian after leaving Manchester City

Midfielder David Silva is returning to the Spanish Football League after ten years in Manchester City. The 2010 world champion and two-time European champion agreed on a two-year contract with San Sebastian. He will also play in the European League in the new season with the sixth team of last year’s La Liga.

Thirty-four-year-old Silva won four championship titles with Manchester City, adding five triumphs in the League, two in the English Cup and also three Super Cup victories. He had previously played for Valencia in Spain.

In San Sebastian, he will replace the Norwegian play’s creator Martin Ödegaard, whose year-long guest appearance from Real Madrid has ended.
