Terrier bites thieves to escape –
Strullendorf – It should have hurt quite a lot: a dog from Upper Franconia put a thief on the run with a bite.
Apparently, the stranger previously grabbed through the tilted window and wanted to access the Strullendorf (Bamberg district) apartment, police reported Wednesday.
The terrier inside then bit so hard that the window sill was almost smeared with traces of blood.
According to information, the thief was unable to break into an apartment in a back building and steal something. He probably had to run away injured after the accident on Tuesday.
