Months after the announcement of Hollow Knight Silksong’s release delay, a “silent update” has appeared on the Steam page for Team Cherry’s highly anticipated Metroidvania, raising fans’ hopes for some news soon.
The latest events on the Silksong Steam page became known from the guys from the portal SteamDB: According to data miners, the Steam page for the sequel to Hollow Knight has recently received two updates, first with an update to one of the gallery images and the advertising title (on Thursday, September 21), and then with a change in the page structure (only today, Saturday, 23 September).
The first of these two updates was an image of Hornet, the main character of Team Cherry’s next metroidvania: it was this image that Steam and the developers used to promote Hollow Knight Silksong on social networks, which sparked enthusiasm from the community.
Fans are obviously hoping to see new Silksong gameplay scenes, possibly accompanied by the announcement of an official launch date on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Game Pass.
