These fuels, which are sold now, were bought two or three months ago and are priced 20-30% lower. It has happened and it will not stop happening, 5 levs will be the fuel, we will walk like obedient donkeys and we will pour because we are pressed, scared and they will unwind us as they want. Do it! In 10 days everything will be over 3 leva! – this is the comment on the web below the photo.

This increase is not related to Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. It would have happened anyway, because of the rise in oil prices before the start of hostilities.

Today, commodity markets and stock markets around the world have calmed down, indicating that investors do not expect the conflict to escalate.

Brent crude fell to about $ 98-99 a barrel this afternoon, after exceeding $ 105 at the start of the military operation. Despite this sharp decline, oil remains slightly more expensive than before the start of hostilities.

Gas has also fallen in price to 119 euros per megawatt-hour, compared to just over 145 euros per megawatt-hour the day before.

However, the price of gas in Europe remains significantly higher than the level of 87 euros per megawatt-hour before the military operation in Ukraine.

The rise in oil and gas prices on international exchanges will still affect the final prices of goods and services.

The positive news is that so far the markets have calmed down, but everything will depend on the development of the conflict in Ukraine.

The price of wheat also fell and on Friday afternoon on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange sold for $ 8.9 per bushel, given the previous day reached a 14-year record of $ 9.3.

Thus, the price of wheat fell almost to the level of the day before the start of the military operation in Ukraine.

Stock exchanges around the world also reacted positively. The main indexes of the stock exchanges in Frankfurt and Madrid rose this afternoon by more than 3%.
