Silent Hill 2 Remake Trailer Revealed: A Stunning Visual Overhaul with Classic Characters – Release Date Announced!

Konami and the Bloober Team have released a new trailer for the Silent Hill 2 update. You can see this at the top of the article.

The video is almost identical to the original game’s announcement trailer from E3 in 2001 – of course with a major visual overhaul. Here we see more of James and Maria. The trailer also includes the first look at Mary and Eddie, as the characters will appear in the new version.

Additionally, the video takes us to several of the areas and buildings that players get to explore in Silent Hill.

The new trailer sets the stage for the game’s spooky story. Which is a stark contrast to the much more action-packed trailer Konami shared half a year ago. At the time, Bloober’s boss pointed out however, it was the publisher’s marketing department that had gone wrong.

– This is not in line with what the game used to be or what we are doing now, Babieno said at the time, adding that players will see that the experience is very different from what the trailer conveyed.

The Silent Hill 2 remake will be released on October 8, for PC and PlayStation 5.
