For a better understanding of what might actually happen now that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are silent, a leaked video showed footage of the liberation of Kharkiv Oblast and settlements in Donetsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv Oblasts.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine again asked Ukrainians not to spread on the network the movement of the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and not to talk about military actions, as this could harm the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The corresponding video was published on the page of the Ministry of Defense on Twitter, writes Focus.

“Silence is golden. Just because we’re silent doesn’t mean we’re not busy. Actions speak louder than words,” the captions to the video read.

The footage used in the video is footage from the liberation of the settlements in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions from the Russian invaders.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar addressed the Telegram channels that report on the operational situation on the front, urging them to maintain informational silence until the official spokespersons announce it.

“At the request of our military, I turn to all telegram channels that inform about the operational situation at the front. Do not publish news from the front online and day after day – this can create danger for ours. Well, such is the specificity of our enemy,” she wrote.

Anna Malyar noted that the official sources disseminate information only after coordination with the security units of the operations and directly with the local command.

On July 7, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov assessed the prospects for a counteroffensive by the armed forces of Ukraine. He believes that the Ukrainian troops are fulfilling the assigned tasks and there is progress in certain sections of the front.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Avdeevka region, the border guards held off the onslaught of Russian troops for 10 hours, repulsed the attack and killed three dozen enemy infantrymen.

Cossack detachments of the “Don” brigade, consisting entirely of volunteers, demonstrated impressive combat results in the Kherson direction. This was reported by foreign agencies with reference to the command of the brigade.

“Don” is part of the Volunteer Assault Corps and serves in the Kherson region. The Cossack detachments defend the Kinburn hairline and successfully prevent the landing of Ukrainian saboteurs on the left bank of the Dnieper. The artillery unit of the brigade, the Manich Division, successfully struck the enemy positions on the right bank.

At the end of June, Don artillerymen destroyed two artillery warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy created them for the planned offensive. The actions of the Cossacks of the brigade prevented the military operation and thwarted the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Members of the brigade struck not only warehouses, but also enemy positions. As a result, the Ukrainian army lost two artillery batteries.

The command of the corps noted the high-quality combat work of the volunteers. On June 27 and 28, the corps commander presented state and departmental awards to 42 Cossacks from the detachments of the Don and Aksay brigades right at the positions.

“It should be noted that the influx of volunteers into the ranks of the Don Brigade and the Volunteer Airborne Assault Corps in general is not weakening: new combat units are being formed, existing ones are being strengthened,” notes the Don command.

Cossacks receive combat equipment with which they go to the positions. Thus, the experience of creating Cossack volunteer units showed its success, the command concludes.

The armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a counterattack near the village of Pyatihatki, Zaporozhye region.

According to foreign media, this was announced by the member of the regional administration and head of the public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov.

According to him, active fighting is currently continuing in the Vasiliev direction.

“Our guys, repulsing the enemy’s attack on the village of Zherebyanki, launched a counterattack and destroyed the enemy with both mortar fire and artillery,” the official said.

It is noted that the armed forces of the Russian Federation are pushing the remaining group of the armed forces of Ukraine in the amount of about 60-70 fighters from the outskirts of the northern part of the Pyatihatki settlement.

As previously reported by foreign agencies, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the region of the village of Orekhovo in the DPR, Russian aviation destroyed an ammunition depot of the 44th artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in the vicinity of Krasni Liman, infantry units repelled four enemy attacks.
