We already know it, its name is Silence S01 (or Silence 01+ in the “evolved” version), and it is the urban electric scooter capable of giving the best to customers who use it for free time, but also to go to work every morning, an excellent companion in the city, for commitments and everyday life.
The Silence S01 range
Silence S01 is the agile 125cc e-scooter in the city center and able to offer excellent motorcycle performance on the road. Boasting an urban design and safe driving comfort, the electric scooter in its Plus version has a motor of 11.8 kW of maximum power, with a torque of 120 Nm and is capable of sprinting from 0 to 50 km / h in just 2.9 seconds. The electric scooter reaches a self-limited top speed of 100 km / h and its 5.6 kWh battery guarantees a range of 133 kilometers. The Silence S01 can be driven from the age of 16 with an A1 license or with a B license. The Basic version of the S01 has a list price starting from 5,928 euros.
The appearance of the Silence S01 + electric scooter
Compared to the standard model, today the new S01 Plus is equipped with a more “refined” suspension group, with the fork that can be adjusted by a professional and with the shock absorber that can be customized both in preload, through the special rings, and in compression, using a practical wheel register. The braking system it features regenerative braking at the rear and uses the CBS combined braking system. The scooter is fitted with Pirelli Angel tires measuring 120/70 at the front and 140/70 at the rear, mounted on 15 ”and 14” alloy wheels respectively.
The electric scooter (today a great success on the market) weighs 152 kg, including the battery. It is no small thing, it is true, but it is the best the House has managed to do, without forgetting that in any case the weight is close to the center of gravity, and this helps to centralize the masses.
The driving methods
The electric scooter – king of urban driving – has three different driving modes: Eco, City e Sport. The first ensures a total autonomy of 130 kilometers, the second of 100 and the third instead of only 80, it is the most aggressive and sporty one, it guarantees an immediate throttle response and sprint and allows the bike to travel up to 100 km / h.
The removable battery is a must have
Everyone is crazy about this scooter, thanks to his removable battery, absolute peculiarity of the model. The battery becomes a sort of trolley, the handle is extracted and thanks to the wheels it can be “transported” easily; given its weight – 35 kg – everything becomes easier. It’s about a optimal solution (already seen on other models) and it is perfect for the driver who can decide to take the battery to recharge at home or to the office during work, to leave again in the evening with full autonomy. However, standard charging is also possible, without removing the battery, at a common socket in the box at home or elsewhere. To remove the battery, it is necessary to activate the safety release under the saddle, with the key inserted in the block, for greater safety.
