SII expects to receive more than 4.7 million declarations in Operation Income 2024 – 2024-03-30 18:59:43

The darts were aimed at the wrong place. All the voices of O’Higgins after the fall against Deportes Iquique pointed to the match judge, Héctor Jona, as responsible for the bad night, but, despite the fact that he quickly showed yellow cards and deservedly sent off a Rancagüino for two kicks outside context, the celestial team was surpassed in all lines by the current leader of the national tournament.

The final 0-3 was a true reflection that the football that coach Juan Manuel Azconzábal advocates could not cope with the rival’s consistent attack. The 4-2-3-1 system that the coach usually uses does not allow the team to deploy on the offensive, since, plagued by midfielders, the only nominal attacker who acted against the northerners, Octavio Bianchi, lacked assists, shipwrecking in a scheme that makes water.

In the previous match, where the poor play deprived him of adding units against the U, there were already doubts regarding the way of approaching the games, very contrary to the squad that was made.

And, this time, the formula was repeated exactly, with the difference that Iquique was much more than the U and this was demonstrated on the playing field.

THE DEFINITION

While goalkeeper Daniel Castillo worked little or nothing in the rival goal, O’Higgins was hurt on both sides. The speed of Edson Puch on the right, added to the liveliness of Steffan Pino in the center of the area, were essential to being one-on-one with the local defenders on several occasions.

To such a point that in the 14th minute, Puch was brought down in the red zone by a sweep by Leonel Mosevich and referee Héctor Jona sanctioned the penalty which, a minute later, Enzo Hoyos converted into a goal.

To make matters worse, the bad game was compounded by the irresponsible expulsion of Martín Maturana, as he had already received a yellow card in the 2′, and this time the second card could have easily been a direct red.

With 10 elements, the task became very difficult for the Capo, while, for the Celestial Dragons, nothing changed. They continued doing their thing, knowing more about each other and they confirmed this as the minutes passed.

NOT EVEN WITH THE CHANGES

In the second period, Azconzábal tried to do something to change the course of the match. He took out Bianchi and Camilo Moya – who was reprimanded – and included the always attentive Arnaldo Castillo and the young Esteban Calderón. The idea was to give the team another look with two attackers, but without changing the initial scheme.

In the first moments of the match, both managed to approach the rival area, helped mainly by Rabello and Sarrafiore, but Iquique had the dagger in his pocket to end the game with a couple of signed modifications, adding speed to the attack with the former celestial César González and the experience of left back Hans Salinas.

In the 50th minute, after a good combined play from right to left, the ball fell towards the center of the defense where Pino was left free and with space, beating Peranic to establish an already irrecoverable 0-2.

Then, in the 68th minute, the tall forward declared the score 0-3 and scored his double to declare a new loss at home, and the third in a row.

With the three points under their belt, the visit moved some pieces to ensure a calm task, the same as O’Higgins who, without Azconzábal – he was expelled for complaints -, saw how Yerko Leiva, Brian Torrealba and Carlos Auzqui, managed to generate more than one scare for the northern defense.

Tough defeat, which begins to take credit away from the work of the coaching staff and which does not at all satisfy the fans who, once again, begin to see problems that were generated in previous seasons, such as not being able to win in Rancagua, added to a football that not convincing.

Next Sunday, at the Nicolás Chahuán Nazar stadium, El Capo will visit Unión La Calera, where he must add units.
