Paris, Aug 3 (EFE).- South Korean Sihyeon Lim became a three-time Olympic archery champion in Paris 2024 by winning the women’s individual event after having previously won the team and mixed team events.
The 21-year-old shooter from Gangeung defeated her compatriot Suyeon Nam 7-3 in the grand final on the Esplanade des Invalides in a new demonstration of the South Korean dominance in this sport.
Of the fifteen arrows that Sihyeon Lim launched, eleven ended up on the 10. Unapproachable for his rival.
France’s Lisa Barbelin, who has two world medals, dared to challenge South Korea’s dominance and won bronze against Hunyoung Jeon, 6-4. EFE
