Before the summer recess, the Extended Bureau of the Flemish Parliament decided to hire the law firm Monard Law. That company was instructed to find out whether a control doctor can visit El Kaouakibi. The opinion is expected at the end of September.

If Monard Law judges that a check-up doctor is permitted, part of El Kaouakibi’s wages can be withheld in the event of abuse. she sits since April as an independent, but has not been seen in Brussels since October last year. During her sick leave, which expired on August 31, she was entitled to her full salary of approximately EUR 5,000 per month.

The founder of the Let’s Go Urban dance project was discredited last year after suspected subsidy fraud.
