Sigulda residents “So Lucid Electric Feel” announce their second album

The modern psychedelic blues band So Lucid Electric Feel has released two new singles at once – “Our Helping Wing” and “Move”. Both are the harbingers of the band’s upcoming second album, Social Mindscream.

“In this song, we have created a scene in which the world connects with a wing that can help. In this case – with the mystical and the invisible. The song embodies the idea of peace, fantasy, help without unnecessary explanations, so that everyone has the opportunity to find their individual associations in this still relevant topic, ”explains the vocalist and guitarist of the group” Our Lucing Electric Feel “Uvis Gailis. The song “Move”, as its name suggests, presents the movement. Infinite, immortal, present in us and in the manifestations of our life cycle. This composition allows you not to think much and also allows the troubled mind to move. ”

Currently, the band continues to record at Sigulda Sound Studio in collaboration with Latvian Blues Band bassist Marcis Kalniņš, who is also a sound engineer of the new musical material, as well as the creator of the final mix and master version. The forthcoming album “Social Mindscream” will generally conjure up a scene in which the hungry mind of the public manifests itself in different ways and characteristics. “The album will cover both sides – both fantasy and reality,” emphasizes Uvis. When it will be possible to resume concert activities again, the band also plans to make a concert recording in Liepaja, which will later be released on a separate vinyl record.

“So Lucid Electric Feel” is a trio founded in Sigulda in 2015, in which vocalist and guitarist Uvis Gailis, bassist Kristaps Sproģis and drummer Raitis Kalniņš have combined their musical skills. Last spring, the band released a very related debut album “We’re All Connected”.
