Sigrid Bonde Tusvik (42) is perhaps best known as one half of the successful podcast “Tusvik & Tønne” – which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2022.
I Tone Damlis podcast “Robbery with Tone” the comedian now tells honestly about the neatness and hateful comments that roll into the inbox.
– People want to kill me
In the podcast, the 42-year-old says that she constantly receives criticism on the internet, and that she has on several occasions been sent death threats.
–
– I’m called pussy and shit, and people want to kill me. I’ve had a lot of death threats. Most recently yesterday, I received some kind of death threat, says the comedian.
Tusvik makes no secret of the fact that she wants to respond to the threats, despite the fact that they can be perceived as frightening.
– I think it’s a little uncomfortable actually, because I’ve never done it myself. I have never wanted to send so many messages to people. I get a little like “oh, what do you want now”. I often get a little anxious and a little scared of it, says Tusvik.
When asked by Damli, Tusvik also admits that she is concerned about being liked, and that the hate comments often hit a sore point.

– Must excite people
The 42-year-old has a lot of experience with public appearances, and she has been watching the TV screen and stand-up scene for many years.
In the podcast, she emphasizes that there is a certain double standard when it comes to women and men in the spotlight.
She believes, together with Damli, that men are criticized to a lesser extent than women for, among other things, clothing choices and advertising for products.
Tusvik believes, however, that it is important to provoke.
– I think it’s a bit important to get people excited a bit. Not everyone bothers to think about things when they get up in the morning. You have to excite people a little and say “hello, this is a little important that we fight for”, says Tusvik.

Dagbladet has been in contact with Tusvik who does not want to comment on the network further. In an SMS, she writes that if you want “the whole story”, you are encouraged to go to her solo show “Witch on The Beach”.
