By what signs it is possible to independently determine the deficiency of vitamins, Yergali Kurmashev, general practitioner of the city polyclinic No. 11 of Almaty, said. Vitamin deficiency is indicated by:

hair loss – deficiency of iron, zinc; leg cramps – magnesium deficiency; dry skin – deficiency of vitamins A and E; severe fatigue – deficiency of iron, vitamin D; bruises very easily, small wounds bleed – deficiency of vitamins K and C; frequent colds – deficiency of zinc, vitamins C and D; white spots on the nails – zinc deficiency; low bone density, poor quality of teeth – deficiency of vitamin C and calcium; deterioration in sensitivity, numbness, tingling in the limbs – vitamin B12 deficiency; skin pigmentation disorders – copper deficiency; flabby skin – deficiency of protein, collagen, vitamin C; seizures in the corners of the mouth – vitamin B2 deficiency.

“Having found these signs, patients can go to the doctor at the clinic at the place of attachment and confirm the deficiency of vitamins, as well as prevent the onset of any diseases. If there are indications, insured patients will be able to take the necessary tests and undergo diagnostics in the OSMS package,” Yergali Kurmashev added.
