Part seventeen (but who counts?) In Bandai Namco’s long run Tales would have been released in 2020, but was shot like much else in the future. Now we get first Tales of Arisetrailer for a long time.
The objective of Arise is and has been to take Talesseries to the next level, and is actually the first game to be made exclusively for, well, previous generation consoles. The latest game, Tales of Berseria, was released in addition to PS4 and PC also to the old faithful servant Playstation 3. During the radio silence, both PS5 and new Xbox have been launched, but Tales of Arise made for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The game was postponed indefinitely and even if we get a new trailer now, it will not come with concrete information. However, the trailer promises to “More news” will come sometime in the spring of 2021.
