Ammon – Laylat al-Qadr is a night that Muslims eagerly await in the blessed month of Ramadan. It is a night that comes to culminate the servant’s efforts to get close to his Lord, the journey of a month.
The date of the Night of Power
The Night of Power is at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, especially in the last ten days, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: (The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Look for the Night of Decree in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan), so everyone must They strive and multiply supplications, acts of worship, and acts of worship during those nights, so that they may be freed from Hellfire.
The virtue of Laylat al-Qadr
Laylat al-Qadr has great virtues, as it is a blessed night in which the greatest miracle in Islam occurred, which is the revelation of the Noble Qur’an to our Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, where God Almighty said: (Indeed, We revealed it in the Night of Decree).
And God praised it with preference over the rest of the nights of the year, as He said in His Holy Book, (The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months), and in it there is salvation for the believers and good tidings to them that God may forgive their sins and grant them paradise, so everyone strives on that night to pray, remember and read The Holy Qur’an, where the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, preached to his servants, and said (Whoever rises in the Night of Decree out of faith and in anticipation of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven).
Signs of the Night of Power
Among the signs of Laylat al-Qadr, as al-Hasan said, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said about Laylat al-Qadr: “Among its signs: It is a gracious night, neither hot nor cold.
Obaid bin Omair said: I was on the night of the twenty-seventh at sea, so I took some of its water, and found it sweet and smooth, and God Almighty knows best.
Also among those signs is that the sky is clear and the atmosphere is moderate, as the angels witness it and descend in groups, on a night when the sky is clear and there is light from God Almighty.
Therefore, God urges His servants to strive to seek it, so whoever knows the virtue of this blessed night and strives to worship in it and stays up late in it is one of the lucky and successful ones, so the Muslim must have faith and hope in obtaining the mercy of God Almighty and make this night an occasion to write down good deeds, repent and seek forgiveness.

O God, praise be to You as You have guided us to Islam, and taught us wisdom and the Qur’an. In it, by Your mercy, to the abode of decision, guide me in righteous deeds, and fulfill my needs and hopes. And accept the prayers of all those who raised their hands to the sky and called you, O God.
• Oh God, and grant me the reward for the righteousness of the righteous, and avoid me with the accompaniment of the wicked, and I have been in it with your mercy to the house of the righteous, and guide me to the righteousness of the rituals,
My Lord, I ask You in these virtuous days, Laylat al-Qadr and its best, blessings and secrets. I ask You to accept my prayers and fulfill my needs.
O God, if this is the Night of Decree, swear for me in it the best of what you have divided, and seal for me in your decree the best of what you have sealed, and seal for me with happiness in what you have sealed… O God, open for me on this night the door of all the good that you opened for one of your creation, your friends, and your obedience, and do not block it for me, and provide for me A sustenance that helps me with it from your good and halal sustenance.
• Oh God, what I divided in this blessed night of goodness, wellness, health, safety, and abundance of livelihood, so make me a share of it, and what I sent down in it of evil, affliction, evil, and sedition, so turn it away from me and all Muslims.
• Oh God, free our necks and the necks of our fathers, mothers, husbands, children, and everyone who has a right over us from Hell.
• Oh God, conclude Ramadan for us with Your pleasure and deliverance from Your fire, and make us among those who are accepted in it, and return it to us for many years while we are healthy and well.
• Oh God, do not take us out of this month of yours unless you have corrected our conditions, made us successful, changed our destinies to the most beautiful of them, and fulfilled for us what we wish for, for you are capable of everything.
• Oh God, if it is the Night of Decree, please do not deprive us of it and forgive us and have mercy on us and repent to us and forgive us.
• Oh God, what you divided in this night of goodness, wellness, and abundance of livelihood, so make for us a portion of it, and what you sent down in it of evil and affliction, so turn it away from me and all Muslims.
