The Digital Agriculture Pole is the structure mandated by the Ministry of Agriculture to support the roadmap of the Generation Green strategy through digital.
This agreement reflects the common will of collaborate to support the digital transition of the agricultural sector as part of the Generation Green strategy.
The objective is the introduction of connected platforms and the deployment of agricultural e-services in pilot sites, in addition to strengthening the capacities of farmers and professionals and encouraging youth entrepreneurship.
The Generation Green strategy has placed digital as a transversal axis to support the implementation of the strategy’s roadmap, to support the transformation of the sector and food systems and improve the living conditions of farmers.
The Generation Green strategy has set itself the objective of reaching 2 million farmers connected to e-services by 2030. Digital will make it possible to achieve objectives relating to the sustainability of agricultural development, such as irrigation water savings of 20 to 30%, an improvement of 20% in agricultural productivity.
