Very steep climb
In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in criminal offenses in connection with the distribution of pornographic writings and especially the distribution of child pornography. While 263 cases of the distribution of pornographic writings were reported in 2019, the figure had risen to 635 last year. In many cases, it is the thoughtless distribution of pornography by children and young people via popular messenger services that leads to criminal prosecution. The aim of the “Your smartphone, your decision!” campaign is to raise awareness among students, parents and teachers and to protect children and young people who are particularly at risk from such content.
