In fact, half of the Spaniards who travel this season will do so. And it is that the contracting of travel insurance has increased by 68% compared to the figures from before the pandemic and has grown by 178% compared to last year, that is, almost double, according to data compiled by IATI Insurance.
This uncertainty has also caused changes in areas for Spanish travelers, such as incorporating the option of cancellation or cancellation for their getaways or trips.
This possibility of adding a supplement has increased by 48%, compared to the year before the pandemic. In the last year it has increased by 165%. As a novelty, currently, it is no longer necessary to contract cancellation insurance in advance, as it has always had to be done.
