The collective agreement was ratified by a member of the NHLPA and the NHL Board of Governors. According to them, the top hockey players in the world should perform at the Olympic Games in 2022 in Beijing and in 2026 in Miln and Cortin d’Ampezzo.

In order to be in the best of the world again after five years after a pause in Pyongyang (2018) after five years, it is now necessary to find a joint joint with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Hockey Federation (IIHF). However, the NHL’s first stance seems to be the longest-running step.

The current collective agreement approved in January 2013 was due to expire in the middle of 2022. Thanks to its extension, it will be valid until 15 of 2026. The salary cap for five years 2020/21 was set at $ 81.5 million, which will remain the same as currently suspended season. In the following years, it will be possible to rewind it under certain circumstances.

The competition also confirmed that the season of the 12th annual coronavirus pandemic will be completed in the halls of Rogers Place in Edmonton and Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The five races will start again on August 1, during which the central cities will be used for a qualifying match and then the first two rounds of the playoffs themselves. The finals of both conferences will take place in Edmonton and the fight for the Stanley Cup will take place.
