After more than a year of work, the contract for the quaternary treatment of a specialist in active pharmaceutical ingredients has been officially signed!
The purpose of the contract is to reduce the dissemination of emerging pollutants (antibiotics, pesticides, hormones, anti-cancer drugs, etc.) whose presence in runoff water is steadily increasing, causing problems for human health and the biodiversity of aquatic environments.
Our sector, with a flow of 200 m3/h on average, integrates ozonation (Ozonia), MBBR (Anox) and filtration (Hydrotech) technologies and will allowreduce hard COD as well as micropollutants before discharge.
The Veolia Water STI solution was selected for its robustness and for the quality of support from our teams throughout the call for tenders.
We now wish full success to the production team, which is setting off on an adventure of 19 months until commissioning, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024!
