Sloclap has teamed up with a French publisher to make a shelf edition of Sifu, a kung-fu fighting style game.
Sifu recently came up with a surprise, as Sloclap, the game’s development team, revealed that it will be available digitally on PlayStation Store and Epic Games Store two weeks ahead of schedule, as it was postponed this summer. start by 2022, there was a period at the end of February that the studio did not want to fight the Horizon Forbidden West and the Elden Ring and we can understand them…
So Sloclap will use Microids to get to store shelves with Sifu, but compared to the digital start, this will only happen at a later date, as the records are scheduled to be produced in the spring. We do not know the exact date here, but perhaps the beginning of mid-March seems logical, and by then the French publisher will be able to estimate how much demand there has been for the record version of the digital recordings.
In the game, we control a kung-fu apprentice who wants revenge because his family has been kicked out of his feet. There is no one next to him, so to protect the legacy of his family, he begins to lay on two shoulders those who stand in his way. To do so, however, you have to fight your way through the secluded corners of the city, from sections full of gangs to the corridors of the company’s rugged towers. And in principle, you have to do it all in one day in the story, and any mistakes come with a time penalty.
We need to be careful and use the environment skillfully to survive. Throwing objects, weapons, windows, edges put together in a run must be thought of, and with these the chances can be turned to a more favorable position, for there will be no mercy. But in the meantime, let’s not forget that mastering kung fu at a master’s level can only be achieved through practice. We need to learn from our mistakes so that we can open up unique abilities as well, so we can also apply the strong techniques of Pak-Mei kung-fu to our arms because we will be strong enough for it.
Sifu will launch digitally on PlayStation 5, PC and PlayStation 4 on February 8, while a disk version will arrive in the spring.
