There was a fire yesterday in a restaurant in the Siezenheim industrial area. The fire brigade was on duty with a respiratory protection team. According to the police, the damage amounts to several thousand euros.

The Siezenheim (Flachgau) fire department was alerted to a local fire in the commercial area on Friday. A caller reported that smoke was visible in a bar, the Floriani report on their homepage. When they arrived, the bar owner informed the fire department that there were no longer any people in the building, but a fire had broken out in the bar.
Broken refrigerator probably caused a fire
The police believe that the fire may have started from a refrigeration unit behind the counter. The cause is suspected to be a technical defect. A respiratory protection team was able to quickly extinguish the device. The Floriani took it outside and ventilated the restaurant. The property damage amounts to several thousand euros, the executive announced in a press release. The Siezenheim fire department was in operation for about an hour with three vehicles and 20 personnel.
