At the start of the regular spring season on Friday (from 6 p.m. live & free-to-air on Sky Sport Austria 1 as well as in the live stream), first place in the Bundesliga duel between Rapid and Sturm Graz is at stake. The number one in the storm box, Jörg Siebenhandl, and the entire storm defense have shown themselves to be very stable this season. Siebenhandl could even break a club record on Friday.

Jörg Siebenhandl saved the Grazers a point in the 0-0 game against the WAC on Sunday thanks to a saved penalty, among other things. The 31-year-old has been unbeaten for 544 minutes of competitive play. The club record set by Christian Gratzei in 2009 is only 58 minutes away.

Sturm coach Christian Ilzer gives the reasons for the defensive stability. “The defense work starts with the striker. We live it well as a collective, we also need a lot of training and of course we have Jörg Siebenhandl, who is in great shape. “
