Volen Siderov was adamant that he could not give an assessment of the statement of the head of the largest Orthodox Church – “I am not that mature”, he said. And anyone who thinks that he is so big or is a complex type or is very bad, I cannot give an assessment to either the Bulgarian or the Russian patriarch, added Siderov. In his words, if it had not been the Russian state, “neither Romanians nor Finns would have participated in these troops”.
“As long as we spread our gratitude – somehow we humiliate it, we spread it in the direction of all nationalities that participated. Yes, we thank them, of course we will thank them for participating, but if it were not for the manifesto, the order, the decision of the Russian emperor, Romanians, Finns and others would not come to join the Russian regular army,” said Volen Siderov.
He also commented that the stability of the coalition is determined by principles, not by “the desire to be somebody”. He was adamant that he had made many compromises for the coalition. I have given up a lot, he said, and asked that this be respected and appreciated.
