Although the original plans were for this summer, except for the weather, we are officially past that, but the upcoming battle royale game of the Korean studio PressA, Side Bullet, has still not been released. It is not yet known when it is expected beyond sometime this year. But at least there’s a new trailer.
Moreover, about weapons, which is quite an important game element in a battle royale. Side Bullet will be a side-view action game, with a rather limited playing space, which is only confirmed by the fact that the events take place in a metropolitan environment, i.e. mostly in buildings. But as the video shows, this does not prevent the fighters from using exaggeratedly powerful weapons against each other.
In the video, the weapons are shown by category, starting with high-dispersion submachine guns and carbines such as the Mach, AK47 or RPG16. They are followed by power weapons that seem really unnecessary, but are guaranteed to be liked by many players, such as the M82 sniper rifle, the DPA22, the RPG7 or the GL16. But if these don’t provide enough firepower for someone, the real big guns can come: the Minigun familiar from helicopters, the flamethrower and the railgun. And it’s still not over, because in addition to the above, we will also be able to use special gadgets: a gravity field generator, a motion sensor cannon, and an EMP.
Side Bullet will be completely free to play, but will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.
