PT SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia admitted that there was a procedural error in the issue of mass layoffs that had gone viral. This issue was also heard by the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah, she said that her party would summon SiCepat.
After being busy on social media, the management of PT SiCepat apologized for the inconvenience caused. He also explained that the action was only for employees with problems.
In response to this, the Minister of Manpower Ida wants further clarity and plans that tomorrow the management from SiCepat will be called immediately.
“Tomorrow we want to call mediation, because in the news we have to see if it’s fair or true? Tomorrow we will call management,” said Minister of Manpower Ida at the KADIN Tower, Wednesday (16/3/2022).
Ida also said that the rumors that circulated should not be trusted too much first. After the mediation is carried out, and the results are out, then it will be determined whether there was an error or not.
“We have asked them to come, later we will convey it to the media. Don’t be too trusted, there will be a presscon after mediation,” he added.
He also explained that not necessarily the SiCepat officers were forced to resign according to the rumors circulating. Therefore, it is requested for all parties not to conclude quickly and wait for the outcome of the mediation tomorrow.
