Acting Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Giring Ganesha asked DKI Jakarta PSI cadres to accompany victims suspected of being poisoned by rice boxes or rice boxes.
A number of residents in Kampung Beting, Koja, North Jakarta are suspected of being poisoned after eating rice boxes with the PSI logo.

Giring said that his visit to Koja Hospital was a form of sympathy and the party’s responsibility to the victims who experienced nausea and vomiting, allegedly after eating the boxed rice distributed by the North Jakarta PSI Regional Management.
“We’re here for a real sense of sympathy and responsibility,” said Giring.
He also apologized to the community for the incident.
In the case of the rice box with the PSI logo, 35 residents of Kampung Beting, Koja, North Jakarta experienced nausea and vomiting allegedly after eating the boxed rice distributed by PSI North Jakarta.
Giring said 23 people had been treated at Koja Hospital, but 18 had been discharged. So that the remaining five people are still being treated.
“There are still five others who are being treated. We pray that all is well,” said Giring.
Previously, PSI Jakarta DPW Chairman, Michael Sianipar opened his voice about the incident and said PSI did not make the food that was distributed in the form of boxed rice.
“We are distributing and gathering support for this ricebox program from the public, in collaboration with stalls and MSMEs. So far, more than 300 thousand riceboxes have been distributed throughout Indonesia and so far everything has been going well,” Michael said when contacted, Monday (25/25). 10).

Regarding the poisoning incident, he said his party had coordinated with the puskesmas and hospital to ensure that the residents were handled.
