Palermo, November 27, 2020 – The Sicily prepares to enter yellow zone. The order of the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, orders the passage of the island from the orange zone to that of moderate risk. The day the provision comes into force will be Sunday 29th November. The map of areas at risk in Italy is revolutionized by the ordinance of Hope: also the Liguria will enter the yellow area while the orange will enter the Regions of Calabria, Lombardy and Piedmont.
What changes
The provisions envisaged for the yellow zone, considered a low risk band, are less restrictive than those envisaged for the orange zone.
Nell’yellow area it is allowed to move from 5 every 22 without the need to motivate the move. Curfew fromone hours 22 to 5 in the morning: all movements prohibited, unless proven reasons of work, necessity and health. However, the recommendation is not to move except for reasons of health, work, study situations of need.
Bars, restaurants and pastry shops they also reopen for on-site service: they may receive their customers, but until 6 pm, afterwards only the take-away service is allowed until 22. For home delivery there are no restrictions, but it must in any case take place in compliance with the regulations on product packaging and delivery.
Also in the yellow zone there is the closure of shopping centers on public holidays and prefestivi with the exception of pharmacies, parapharmacies, food outlets, tobacconists and newsagents inside them. Museums and exhibitions are also closed.
The religious functions with the participation of people they can be carried out, provided that they respect the protocols signed by the Government with their respective confessions.
The distance learning it is foreseen for high schools, except for students with disabilities and in case of use of laboratories; face-to-face teaching for kindergartens, elementary schools and middle schools. Universities closed, except for some activities for freshmen and laboratories. Reduction of up to 50% for public transport, with the exception of transport and school vehicles.
The activities of gaming rooms, betting rooms, bingo and slot machines are still suspended, even in bars and tobacconists. Still some stops for sports and recreational activities. In fact, swimming pools, gyms, theaters and cinemas remain closed. On the other hand, sports centers are open. However, it is allowed to carry out individual training outdoors, as well as training for team sports, which can be carried out individually and respecting the distance.
I respiratory protection devices (better known as masks) must be worn both when you are outdoors and when you are indoors in places other than your home. There are some exceptions such as for children under six years of age, for those who practice physical activity, while eating or drinking, in the places and times when it is allowed or when you are alone or exclusively with your cohabitants.
