Jordan is a 9-year-old child living in Oklahoma, USA, and he wants to be a policeman when he grows up. His home has been an orphanage for six years.
Through a report on the KFOR-TV channel, everyone got to know Jordan’s life story and his dreams.
During the interview, the boy was asked what he would choose if he was entitled to three wishes. He replied without hesitation: “Having a family, family, family. These are the only wishes I have”.
“I just wanted to have a family, to have someone to call mom and dad, or just mom, or just dad. I don’t care,” he continued.
Jordan says it is important for him to find a family because he could have several people to talk to whenever he wanted.
In the middle of the conversation he launched an appeal to those who were going to see the report: “I hope one of you will choose me”.
Jordan has a younger brother named Braison who has already been adopted. The brothers are thus separated and currently have no contact with each other.
Jordan’s story has moved many people from different states across the country. So far, the adoption service has received more than 10,000 requests to adopt Jordan. The services are examining applications and it is expected that in six months the boy will already have someone to call family and a home that is not an orphanage.
