The Government of Mexico City, through the Secretariat for Inclusion and Social Welfare (SIBISO), will provide support to people whose homes were affected by atypical rainfall on Tuesday, March 28 in the El Capulín neighborhood, Alcaldía Álvaro Obregón.
A census has been carried out by the Coordination of Inclusion and Social Welfare and the General Coordination of Citizen Participation of SIBISO and, to date, 52 affected homes have been identified.
The supports for the inhabitants will be valued according to the levels of damage from rainfall in: low, medium and high; and amounts of 10,000, 15,000 and 25,000 pesos, respectively, may be granted to the affected families. Each family was assigned a follow-up public servant.
The support will be granted for a single occasion in accordance with the guidelines of the Immediate Social Action for Priority Populations, ASIPP, 2023.
In addition to cleaning and disinfecting homes and streets, and removing household items and garbage, families have been supported with cleaning kits, a pop-up dining room that was installed yesterday Wednesday morning, and medical care.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Health, the Water System, the Ministry of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection, the Ministry of Works and Services, and the Comprehensive Family Development System (DIF) of Mexico City have also deployed teams on site.
