SIA ‘Lauma Fabrics’ has registered a commercial pledge worth 58.8 million euros

The holder of the company’s shares SIA “European Lingerie Group” is registered as a debtor in the transaction, while the pledged property is the shares of LSEZ SIA “Lauma Medical”. The commercial pledgee registered yesterday is JSC “Rietumu Bank“.

The shareholder of LSEZ SIA “Lauma Medical” registered in 2019 is LSEZ SIA “Lauma Fabrics”, which, in addition to the above, also owns 50% of SIA “Tele Textile Latvia” shares.

Lauma Fabrics, a manufacturer of materials for sewing women’s laundry, medical products and molding products, was the employer of 390 employees last year. That’s about 53 employees less than a year earlier. The company paid 2.29 million euros in tax payments to the state budget in 2020.

The information available to “Lursoft” shows that LSEZ SIA “Lauma Fabrics” has also received state support for mitigating the consequences of the Covid-19 crisis. Compensation for downtime was paid to the company’s employees, the SRS also supported the distribution of deferred tax payments or deferral for up to three years, the company was granted support to ensure the flow of working capital, as well as 394 were paid to LSEZ SIA “Lauma Fabrics” 48 thousand euros.
