In 2021, compared to 2020, the company’s turnover had increased by 25%.

“In 2021, the increase in the volume of shipments and the positive mood of buyers, as well as as a result of geopolitical changes, experienced a sharp decline throughout 2022. This was accompanied by both the highest inflation indicators and the increase in the cost of energy resources. Despite the challenges caused by negative external conditions, due to which shipments volume decreased by approximately 12%, the company managed to ensure a profit increase of 2% compared to 2021,” says the management report of SIA “DPD Latvija”.

Last year, SIA “DPD Latvija” profit after taxes reached 1.7 million euros. The company managed to achieve positive profit indicators thanks to successful cost control, increase in operational efficiency, including automation of processes.

In the management report submitted by the company, it has been stated that with the lifting of the restrictions of Covid-19, e-commerce rates decreased, as well as the total volumes of shipments. “Contrary to the results of 2021, B2C volumes experienced a drop of 20%, while C2C volumes remained at the level of 2021,” SIA “DPD Latvija” stated.

In 2022, SIA “DPD Latvija” continued work on additional investments in infrastructure development, installing and expanding more than 40 automated terminals for receiving shipments. In addition, the company also continued work on the implementation of its sustainable business development strategy by investing in the creation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

“Lursoft” information shows that in 2022 SIA “DPD Latvija” provided 228 employees with jobs, paying a total of 1.54 million euros in mandatory state social insurance contributions, and 0.79 million euros in personal income tax.
