According to Qin Gan, China is ready to work with the Ukrainian side “to promote the sustainable and stable development of bilateral relations, focusing on the long-term plan”.
Qing Gan said that China is committed to the progress of peace talks and is concerned about the protracted and escalating crisis and the possibility of it getting out of control, and has always maintained an objective and impartial position on the Ukraine issue.
Kuleba also spoke about the importance of partnership, noted China’s key role in international affairs, thanked for providing humanitarian aid and even congratulated Beijing for its recent success in helping to reconcile Saudi Arabia and Iran, although the latter is listed as an enemy of Ukraine .
