Shuttle buses from Holding Graz will take you to the various locations on Religion Day.
On Sunday, September 22nd, 16 religious and denominational communities at 14 locations are inviting people to the first “Day of Religions” under the motto “LIFE…”. Graz Linien will connect the locations with its own bus lines.

Whether meditating in the spirit of Buddhism, taking a tour of the Jewish community or listening to choir singing in the Old Catholic Church – a world opens up that remains hidden to many of us in our everyday lives and new impressions of spirituality and meaningful life can be experienced. The “Day of Religions” was launched by the Interreligious Advisory Board of the City of Graz together with Mayor Elke KahrThe unanimous aim is to promote peaceful, inclusive and solidarity-based coexistence: “It is important to me that the religious communities here in Graz organize a Day of Religions in order to send a joint signal for a solidarity-based and peaceful city. I am therefore very happy that we have managed to ensure that this day will take place in September this year. Above all, I am also pleased to see the committed cooperation in advance.”

Day of Religions
At 6.30 p.m. there will be a joint closing event at the Stupa in the Volksgarten, where the “Day of Religions” will end with music, some thoughts on peace and solidarity, and a common get-together with the sharing of bread and water.
