On Good Friday, the Holy Church commemorates the Passion of the Lord, the bells in the churches fall silent. This is the day when our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, voluntarily surrendering to martyrdom. The Shroud is carried out in every temple.
Among our people, the Holy Shroud enjoys great reverence and love. People observe a full fast on Good Friday and approach the Holy Shroud on an empty stomach, as if to Holy Communion. Worshiping the Holy Shroud and kissing her is a truly deep spiritual experience and an opportunity to renew your faith in Christ and love for the Lord, who died on the cross out of love for us.
