The first part of “Shrek” is undoubtedly a cult cartoon. Over time, it was followed by several sequels, which also received considerable recognition from viewers. The Shrek phenomenon has also spread to the internet, where there is no shortage of memes featuring the green-skinned ogre. One of the creators of the meme, speaking on YouTube under the nickname Fat Dino, also tried to create a game about Shrek as a joke. As a result, he turned out to be a surprisingly successful creation.

His YouTub profile has several videos showing off his game development skills. He recently showed off his attempt to create a game where the player will take on the role of Shrek, using his physical strength and skills to fend off waves of enemies. Among the latter, in particular, Pinocchio, Cookie and Puss in Boots. Fat Dino used Unreal Engine 5 and Blender.

After defeating each wave of enemies, a chest with skills appears. When you return to Shrek’s house, you can decide whether to replay the current level, go back, or continue the gameplay. If you don’t want to watch all the videos and want to get clean gameplay, rewind the video to 15:20.

Despite the author’s humorous approach to the entire project and the bugs that can be found in it, the community commenting on the work did not spare warm words for him. There were also comments from people who would like to see a full open world RPG.

If an open-world RPG set in the Shrek universe is ever released, it will be the game of all time.

It’s amazing. A very creative approach that shows how good the Unreal Engine is.

Fabulous! The environments and character models look amazing.

If you want to knock out Pinocchio with your own hands, you can download the game for free from here.
