American director Kelly Asbury died of cancer on Friday at the age of 60. That reports TMZ Saturday.
During his career, Asbury worked on a number of world-famous animated films, including Shrek 2 ,Beauty And The Beast and Frozen. Shrek 2 was nominated for an Oscar a few years ago.
The great breakthrough of Asbury took place in 2002, when he was commissioned by producer Dream Works to make the animated film Spirit directed. This film was also nominated for an Oscar.
In addition to his work as a director, Asbury also worked as a voice actor and wrote several children’s books.
