The game, which was released worldwide on November 5, features scenes with pages Al-Qur’an scattered on the floor and covered in blood. This brought the world’s leading game developer under fire from Muslim fans, who called for a global apology.
“Call of Duty was made for everyone…there was content that was insensitive to the Muslim community that was incorrectly entered…and has since been removed…we deeply apologize.
