Showing Heroic at the 2021 Dutch MotoGP, Marc Marquez is Satisfied: Okezone Sports

SHAFTS – Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, satisfied with the results of the race MotoGP Netherlands 2021 at Assen Circuit, Sunday 27 June 2021. How could I not, Marquez could finish seventh despite starting the race from 20th position.

Marquez started the race from 20th position due to his poor performance in free practice sessions 1 to 3. Marquez also had to compete in qualifying 1 (Q1) to fight for two tickets to qualifying 2 (Q2).

However, Marquez actually crashed in Q1 so he had to be content to start the race from 20th position. For your information, Marquez previously also had an accident in free practice session 2.

After that, Marquez raced his bike to get into the top 10. As the number of laps increased, Marquez also improved his position again so he could finish seventh.

The seventh position is not as good as Marquez’s previous achievement, which won the 2021 German MotoGP race. However, Marquez is still satisfied because the Assen Circuit is different from the Sachsenring Circuit, Germany.

If the Sachsenring Circuit has many turns to the left, the Assen Circuit is the exact opposite. The Assen circuit puts even more pressure on Marquez, who still feels pain in his right arm and shoulder. However, Marquez was able to overcome it well.

“Here, I am satisfied with the race. I had a good race, I was consistent, I saw myself with the ability to go further at the end of the race, but I decided not to,” said Marquez. Motosan, Monday (28/6/2021).

“I also don’t see myself trained perfectly, but I’m calm and happy because it was the first race on a physical right-handed circuit like this that I finished well, more or less riding in a good time,” said the racer nicknamed The Baby Alien.

“It also makes me believe that it is a matter of time (until he returns to his best) and which races improve. It will definitely give us the stability we seek for the future.”
