Early in the morning there will be thunderstorms in the western coastal area and light rain in several areas south of the central-western volcanic belt; the rest of the morning, the sky will be partly cloudy, with the possibility of showers around noon, in areas close to the central-eastern volcanic belt.
During the afternoon, cloudiness is expected to form in high areas, with showers and thunderstorms in mountainous areas and the volcanic range, with emphasis on the northern and western sectors, estimating a medium probability of precipitation for central, eastern and coastal areas.
Towards the end of the afternoon and early evening, widespread cloudiness is expected over most of the country, so that during the night the formation of showers and storms will continue in eastern sectors, moving towards the northern, coastal areas and areas adjacent to the volcanic belt.
The wind will be from the northeast in the morning and evening, with a sea breeze from the southwest in the afternoon, at 5 to 15 km/h in all periods.
Temperatures will be cool in the morning and warm during the afternoon. These conditions are associated with the influence of a tropical wave, moving away from the national territory, supporting daytime warming and with significant support from systems in the upper layers of the troposphere, generating favorable conditions for the development of convection and the formation of cloudiness associated with showers and strong storms during the afternoon and night, with electrical activity and wind gusts exceeding 35 km/h.
