A woman left an electric stove on this morning at her home on Dame Gruev Street and went out to the store. From the frightened cries of neighbors and the thick smoke coming out of the windows of the apartment and on the 6th floor, she knew that her apartment was on fire.
Neighbors immediately called 112. The black smoke failed to frighten the owner of the property, who immediately went home and turned off the fuses on the electrical panel to prevent more damage.
The arriving team of the Second Service controlled the fire extremely quickly. Only part of the household appliances and the windows of the terrace where the kitchen area was located were destroyed.
The quick reaction of the firefighters saved the property, but the firefighters are adamant that with her adequate reaction the woman helped them a lot, turning off the fuse of the house.
