After lining up in the qualifying match for Euro 2012 between Portugal and Denmark, Cristiano Ronaldo became one of the five ‘Portuguese’ footballers who have defended the shirt of his team the most, he already has 85 appearances.
‘CR7’ is 26 years old and has many possibilities of continuing to make history. He debuted with Portugal in a win (1-0) on August 20, 2003 against the Kazakhstan team. Ronaldo equaled Simao Sabrosa, a 31-year-old winger who retired from the national team after the 2010 World Cup.
