Should the Philadelphia Sixers freak out the Miami Heat?

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have compiled 14 points. 14 points to 6 out of 15 on shots. Either as much as Trevor Ariza and Udonis Haslem, the terrifying doublet of the Miami Heat. Which they, at least, had the merit of doing so at 6 of 11. Only 14 points for the two All-Stars and a loss for the Philadelphia Sixers (94-106). In fact, on his own, Bam adebayo dominated the top opposing players with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

So it is clear that a simple end-of-season meeting is not significant enough to draw conclusions. Especially since Embiid was sick at the start of the week and therefore potentially diminished. But the Cameroonian was still limited 6 small points, 2 rebounds and 3 of 9 on shots. Adebayo and the Heat hurt him.

And it can at least give the Sixers a cold sweat as the playoffs approach. Because Miami, fifth, could very well find Philadelphia in the second round. The Floridians will play the Atlanta Hawks first – well if the standings don’t budge by the end of the regular season. A less experienced team that cannot count on a leader like Jimmy Butler. In the event of qualification, the Heat should face the Doc Rivers.

A very committed series in perspective. The Sixers are stronger than last year. They would leave favorites. But it might just be the best for the Heat. An outsider status, less pressure and a player like Bam Adebayo to defend on Joel Embiid. We want to see this duel!
