Asturian hoteliers have been disappointed because the Superior Court of Justice has denied the extremely precautionary measures requested by the Otea employers, who demand that the Asturian Government allow the reopening of the sector. Things will continue as they are until the magistrates conclude whether or not it is scientifically justified that the closures of the most affected councils (the so-called level 4+) are useful against the pandemic. The Basque Superior Court of Justice did so last week. In addition, they ask that the Ministry of Health be the one to set the de-escalation before Holy Week. The president of Asturias has already announced that we forget about those traditional holidays, but there are autonomous communities that are preparing the relaxation of measures.
– Should the criteria be centralized or should each autonomous community establish them? Should the same happen with the courts or is that impossible?
