PSG’s full attention is currently on Kylian Mbappe. But with Neymar there is another personality in which there is an acute need for clarification. A former Brazil international thinks he should join Arsenal.
Due to the great excitement about Kylian Mbappe, Neymar has become a little quieter. The 31-year-old himself has no intention of leaving Paris Saint-Germain – and recently emphasized that he still has a valid contract until 2025.
Neymar is set to leave PSG
Julio Baptista thinks Neymar needs to make a change. “Go to Arsenal,” said the former Brazil international and current Real Valladolid second-team coach.
“I think Neymar is comfortable at PSG but maybe the best thing for him would be to create a new atmosphere at a new club that will support him and give him the confidence he needs,” said Baptista. “He doesn’t have that at PSG. The fans don’t like him very much and maybe it’s time to move on and try something different.”

Neymar to London? “Arsenal are one of the best clubs in Europe”
As Neymar himself has no serious intentions to leave PSG and he is only just starting up after a serious ankle injury, there has been no serious sign of a change in recent weeks and months.
“Arsenal are one of the best clubs in Europe,” said Baptista, convinced that Neymar would be a really good fit for the Gunners. “We know Arsenal haven’t produced the best players or been as competitive in the last eight years. It would be good for both of us.”
Major League Soccer is said to have asked through various clubs. Neymar wants to continue his career at the very highest level at the age of 31.
